Well, I'm two posts in, and already I took two weeks off. Not a great start. I'll try to catch up, and talk a little about the BF 2022 SRs and SSs we've been seeing.
First, Landler.
He's a beautiful model with graceful stride and color, and his shading and fleabites are to die for. I would be all over him if I collected dressage models. Unfortunately, I have decided against adding him to my collection.
Second, Elbe and Spree.
I AM IN UTTER LOVE!!! These models may just be my favorite SRs to date (although it is hard to say that with Ansel looking at me from my shelves). I am first on a waiting list for a pick-up, and I'm sweating bullets. I NEED THEM NOW!!
Third, Stein.
A lot of collectors are flipping over this guy. I think that he is so-so. The mold is great (wish he was performance friendly though!), but the color is a little iffy for me though. His right side looks bad, but the shot of his left is gorgeous. Either way, he is a handsome hunk that I won't be adding to my collection.
Fourth, Rotating Draft Surprise.
Not much to say here, other than to ask, why another alcoholic reference? I'm so sick of it. I think it may be Bobbi Jo, but I'm not thinking it will be a drafter. Perhaps Bristol? No clues to him, just thinking out loud.
Fifth, Breyer Bears.
I love this idea so much. Wish they weren't smelly though! And I'd love their eyes to be painted black or something, they seem a little off with the clearware eyes. I think Breyer knocked it out of the park with these two, and the price isn't bad either. Curious to see the exclusive packaging!
Onto SSs (or LEs now, depending on how long you've been collecting)
Montara. Gorgeous model, nasty mold. I won't be getting him unfortunately. I am not a Mellin fan
More later!
