Odd Ball Harper

 I was outside updating some halter showing photos yesterday when I noticed something odd about my grey Harper (Heroes of the West set, 2017-2019).

She's got funky two-tone hooves. I wonder how it happened? Perhaps some of the masking used on the sock was left on the hoof? No, her socks aren't crisply masked. I did double check and it is not a rub, it is from the factory. I'm thankful it's on the hooves and nowhere obvious. If anyone has any guesses as to why she's like this, please comment! :) I don't believe the right hind has it at all, but I'm not 100% on that. I know the other three do.

Other than that flaw, she's a beautiful model. She is more grey than Grulla. I show her as a grey.

 He's out officially! His color is a little different than I was expecting, but I like him anyway. He is on the TSC website right now, but not available to purchase (at least not for me). Looking forward to picking mine in-person!

The classic family and the American Dream and foal are up too. The American Dream has some pretty significant flaws in the promo photo. Lets hope that's not an ill foreboding for the rest of the run. The classic set has Harper, Proud Arabian, and Morgan Foal.

Blue and the Blue ornament are out, he is not solid blue as we thought, he is textured. Now it makes sense why they gave a whole section of the BF archive tour to the denim models lol. They're announced! And they are stunning! I love all of them this year, except the deco Geronimo. And I don't dislike him, he's just not my thing. 🙂 I'll definitely be buying a scrumptious Latigo, and a yummy LP, and probably a delicious bay American Dream!

I would like one of those Harpers in the set, but I can't tell who the other adult model is, and odds are I won't buy a full set for just one model. Shelf space is too valuable for that. 😉 I'm crazy curious as to who the second adult is, does anybody know? I'll be researching on IDYB, but there is too much glare for me to be able to tell right off the bat. Please comment if you know or have a guess!

The Zippo looks fabulous, but I typically don't love Breyer's black pintos in person. Too flat imho. Plus Zippo takes up a lot of space on shelving, so I will probably pass. If he is a good price on Black Friday I may snag one though. We'll see.

The deco FFA Geronimo appears to be a blue bay? I can't tell, he may have a design on his side. I don't collect decos, so he's an easy pass for me. It does seem strange that they would choose that mold though, what with the Mixer series in full swing.
